פוקוס טלקום משולבת בפיתרון הסינכרון של חלק מיצרני התקשורת בארץ, כולל ברשתות ,WIMAX ובכך מגיעה עם אותם יצרנים כמעט לכל מקום בעולם.

 לאחרונה זיהתה פוקוס טלקום את "הדבר הבא" שלקוחותיה- מפעילי רשתות התקשורת בארץ, יצטרכו- שילוב עולם הטלקומוניקציה עם עולם המחשבים, היינו ה VOIP.

 מאז מפיצה פוקוס טלקום בלעדית את טלפוני ה IP תוצרת SNOM (גרמניה), וכן VOIP GATEWAY (המתאמים בין עולם התקשורת המסורתי הקווי והסלולרי, לעולם ה VOIP) , מתוצרת TELES (גרמניה) ותוצרת EPYGI (ארה"ב).

Recent parts obsolescence issues are forcing the discontinuance of the all models of the TymServe 2100 network time server. The TS2100 has been an industry standard time server for many years, and we are striving for the longest possible discontinuance period to accommodate customer needs. The last day to order a TS2100 will be September 30, 2006. A discontinuance notice will be posted as soon as possible to this URL.
We will also be posting a notice on the TS2100 web pages and datasheet regarding the discontinuance. Please notify your TS2100 customers as soon as possible of this change. This is a good opportunity to introduce customers to the new SyncServer S250/S250i which are superior alternatives to the TS2100

Cisco IP Telephony Clock Synchronization Best Practices [Download]
Here we have one of the industry giants Cisco, clearly stating that time is needed in VoIP networks for logging and billing needs.
It demonstrates a huge performance advantage using a proper NTP TimeServer (Symmetricom) vs. using Mircosoft Windows TimerServer WT32.
The paper concludes that NTP is needed for 1 ms accuracy, whereas WT32 can drift 100-1000's of ms. CISCO then says NTP is the best practice. This is great news!
Many of our telecom sync products combine Frequency and Time with the NTP, e.g. SSU2000 and TimeProvider 3.0, in a package that offers redundancy and network management.
